Home prices in the Bellingham area have been very attractive in recent years compared to those in the Seattle area or California but prices have been rising sharply.   There are still bargains to be had but you have to look hard to find them.    The fact is, people are willing to pay a little more to live in a place that is truly special.    How much more?   Nobody knows how much higher home prices will go or when they will drop again.    One things for sure, there are allot of people that are very glad they bought their home when they did.
